A shared weekly calendar per instrument, with the rules built in.
Every instrument gets a weekly calendar. Click an empty slot to book it; click a booking to inspect or cancel it. An All view draws every instrument's bookings on one grid when you just need to know what is free this afternoon.
The rules enforce themselves: double bookings are impossible even for two people clicking at the same moment, maximum booking lengths hold, instruments can require a training sign off, and maintenance blocks the slot for everyone. On phones the grid becomes a simple free or busy list per instrument.

Qualification gated instruments only accept bookings from signed off members, and sign offs can expire.

- Click an empty slot and confirm.
- Show up; the slot is genuinely yours.

Frequently asked questions
Can two people book the same slot?
No. The overlap check runs at the database level, so even simultaneous clicks cannot collide.
How does training gating work?
An instrument can require a sign off; only signed off members can book it, and sign offs can expire.
Is it free?
Yes. LabBee is in beta and every module is free. If paid plans ever arrive, we will say so clearly ahead of time.
How do we start?
One person creates an account and the lab, then invites everyone else by email. Roles work out of the box.

Only your lab's members. Every lab page checks membership on every request.
