The lab's week on one board: who does what, by when, with which materials.
A kanban board with three columns: To do, In progress, Done. Drag cards between them, assign any number of people to a task, set priorities and due dates, and the board answers the Monday meeting's first question by itself.
Tasks carry their materials too: record what a task consumed and the inventory ledger updates through the same single code path as everything else. Due dates surface as badges on the card, on the board and on each member's Home.

Can a task have several assignees?
Yes, any number. Each newly added person is notified once; nobody is renotified.
