What is on the shelf, what is running out and where it actually is.
Every reagent and consumable in one table: quantity, unit, reorder threshold, expiry date, supplier details and a location written as a real path, like Freezer / Rack B / Box 7, because "where is it" is the question the bench asks most.
Every stock movement goes through a ledger with the balance after each change, and each row remembers who, when and why, including the task the material was used on. Correcting a count by hand writes a ledger row too, so the history has no holes.
